The National Law Journal recently named Wilson Sonsini partners Moe Fodeman and Michael Sommer to its 2020 list of Criminal Law Trailblazers. The list highlights 26 attorneys recognized as “agents of change” in criminal law.

The profile notes that Moe and Michael, both former federal prosecutors, have tried more than 75 criminal cases between them. The profile goes on to highlight how they successfully defended David Levy, the former chief investment officer of Platinum Partners, in a trial brought by the federal government alleging fraud. In July 2019, after a three-month trial, Moe and Michael were able to secure a total victory for their client.
