On October 16, 2024, first-year law students Christian Meyer (Stanford Law School) and Sidney Wright (UC Berkeley School of Law) were honored as the 2024-2025 Wilson Sonsini Foundation California ChangeLawyers Next Gen 1L Scholars during a reception held in San Francisco, California. Supported through contributions from law firms and other donors, this program provides financial support to outstanding first year law students from an ABA or California accredited law school with a demonstrated interest in creating a more just and representative legal system, led by advocates of all backgrounds.
