Wilson Sonsini partner Farah Gerdes was recognized among the "2023 Top Women of Law" honorees by Massachusetts Lawyers Weekly, an award that celebrates the achievements of exceptional women lawyers, including public-service lawyers who work tirelessly, attorneys who have dedicated their careers to nonprofit work, private practice attorneys who have become leaders in their practice areas, and in-house counsel who have been instrumental in their companies’ success.

In the field of life sciences, Farah has made an art of deals that bring together industry leaders to develop and commercialize breakthrough therapies. She has advised on a multitude of high-profile deals, ranging from strategic collaborations and license agreements to mergers and financings. For pharmaceutical companies, biotech firms, and other life sciences companies, Farah has designed strategically vital agreements that allow her clients to collaborate with partners, develop products, and get to market faster.
