On June 3, 2025, Wilson Sonsini M&A partner Ross Tanaka was honored among this year's recipients for the 16th annual "Emerging Leaders Awards" by M&A Advisor, a globally renowned organization for recognizing and showcasing top M&A, financing, and turnaround transactions and professionals. The honorees are rising stars shaping the future of mergers and acquisitions, restructuring, and corporate finance. The winners will be recognized at a formal awards gala in New York City in September.

Ross has significant experience with M&A and corporate governance matters, particularly in the technology and life sciences industries. His recent transactional experience includes announced or completed M&A and other strategic transactions valued at over $90 billion in the aggregate. In addition to M&A, Ross regularly handles tender and exchange offers, asset acquisitions, divestitures and business carve-outs, and other strategic transactions.
