On November 12, 2025, Lawyers Alliance for New York named Wilson Sonsini’s Khalil Nobles among its five 2025 Cornerstone Awardees. The honorees were selected from more than 2,200 business and transactional lawyers who volunteered through Lawyers Alliance during the past year. Khalil is a prolific Lawyers Alliance volunteer who took on 13 matters for 12 clients during the last six years, working with nonprofits on trademarks, copyrights, music licensing and clearance, waivers and release forms, and an asset transfer agreement.

“The Cornerstone Awards embody Lawyers Alliance’s mission – to harness the transformational power of pro bono service to create lasting change,” said Angela Fernandez, Lawyers Alliance’s new Executive Director. “These awards honor the volunteers whose dedication strengthens nonprofits and expands their impact – laying the foundation for a stronger, more equitable future.
