The California Diversity Council (CADC) recently recognized Wilson Sonsini partner Katherine Henderson as one of its Top 50 Women Lawyers for 2017. Katherine was recognized as part of a leading group of women executives who "drive change, innovate, and inspire others to succeed while contributing to business growth."

According to the CADC, winners were chosen based on criteria including: contributing to the business growth or strategic direction of the organization; maintaining a record of accomplishments; being an effective role model who inspires other women and is active in mentoring the next generation of female professionals in the industry; operating with the highest integrity and ethical behavior; and demonstrating a commitment to corporate citizenship.

Founded in 2009, CADC is a nonprofit organization that helps businesses and organizations promote diversity and inclusion by providing resources on leadership development and diversity best practices.
