On August 24, 2026, Wilson Sonsini Pro Bono Counsel John Lynch was named a 2026 finalist for “Community Impact Leaders” for The National Law Journal’s D.C. Legal Awards.

John leads the firm’s efforts supporting veterans and their families. Since he joined nearly a decade ago, John has spearheaded initiatives with organizations including The Veterans Consortium (TVC) Pro Bono Program, Swords to Plowshares, and the Vigilant Torch Foundation. He also leads a program in which Wilson Sonsini summer associates across the firm work on veteran-related matters in partnership with TVC.
