In December 2018, Wilson Sonsini represented JPM Capital Corporation in connection with a tax equity investment in the development of (i) a 199.2 MW wind generation facility in Mitchell County, Iowa, and (ii) a 78.4 MW wind generation facility in Chautauqua County, New York, each being developed by affiliates of EDP Renewables North America LLC. In connection with such tax equity transaction, the investor made an upfront equity investment of approximately $269 million and also has ongoing PAYGO payment obligations of $8.7 million.
