On November 2, 2023, Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati was recognized among Silicon Valley Business Journal’s top corporate philanthropists at the publication’s Corporate Philanthropy Awards, which celebrated the local companies and nonprofits that gave the most last year. Wilson Sonsini ranked No. 30 among the Bay Area’s biggest philanthropists, which was the highest ranking for a law firm. In addition, the firm’s Head of Community Impact, Gail McFall, was recognized as one of eight Community Impact Honorees for 2023.

​Then, on November 3, 2023, Wilson Sonsini was recognized as a 2023 Silicon Valley Philanthropy Day honoree in the “Outstanding Corporate Grantmaker" category at the 36th Annual Silicon Valley Philanthropy Day luncheon held at Villa Ragusa in Campbell, California. The firm was nominated for the award by Second Harvest of Silicon Valley, Community Legal Services in East Palo Alto, Law Foundation of Silicon Valley, LifeMoves, and Rebuilding Together Peninsula. Organized by the Association of Fundraising Professionals Silicon Valley Chapter, the luncheon annually honors the contributions of local philanthropists, volunteers, and organizations that have made a positive impact in the community.
