On October 27, 2023, Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati was honored as “Pro Bono Partner of the Year” at Elevate Community Center’s 2023 Halloween Gala held at the Rotunda at San Jose City Hall. Pro Bono Partner Luke Liss accepted the award on behalf of Wilson Sonsini.

Earlier this year, the firm collaborated with Elevate Community Center on a records clearance clinic that assisted 20 clients in obtaining their RAP sheets and petitioning for record clearance in their journey to a new start. The firm plans to work with Elevate on another such clinic later this year. The Wilson Sonsini Foundation has donated a total of $3,875 to Elevate in 2023.  

Elevate Community Center aims to elevate financial wellness through education and service. The organization serves often overlooked populations, including the justice impacted, the low-income, and small businesses. Its annual gala serves as a fundraiser to provide legal services for society’s most vulnerable.
