On October 6, 2026, Sensible Biotechnologies (Sensible), a biotechnology company developing a first-of-its-kind platform for naturally modified mRNA medicines, announced that it has secured $47 million in financing to advance and scale its integrated mRNA technology. The financing includes a Series A led by Oxford Science Enterprises (OSE) and up to $20 million in non-dilutive funding from the Government of Slovakia and the European Union. Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati advised OSE on IP due diligence related to the transaction.
The financing will be used to develop and scale Sensible’s VECTOR (Versatile Engine for Cell-based Therapeutic Optimization of RNA) platform and clinical-grade manufacturing capabilities to expand mRNA beyond vaccines into broader therapeutic applications.
The Wilson Sonsini team that advised OSE on IP matters included Lou Lieto, Jeff Seidel, and Inyoung Choi.
