Unlike other SVBJ lists, the Power 100 is not limited to people of a certain age, gender, ethnicity, or by the type of business they operate—it instead is an all-encompassing round-up of the area's most preeminent leaders.

Wilson Sonsini Managing Partner Doug Clark has been recognized in the Power 100 list, where he is described as a specialist in securities matters, having represented defendants in more than 70 class and derivative actions as a litigator. Doug has led the Bay Area's largest firm by number of locally based lawyers for the last 11 years, including during its representation of LinkedIn in its $26.2 billion acquisition by Microsoft in 2016 and, more recently, Twitter in its $44 billion acquisition by Elon Musk.
