Christopher Kuner Honored by Government of Japan's Consumer Affairs Agency

On June 26, 2015, Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati Senior Privacy Counsel Dr. Christopher Kuner was honored with a "Best Consumer Supporter" award from the Consumer Affairs Agency of the government of Japan. The award—which is given for services to Japanese consumers—honors Christopher for his expertise in data protection law and his promotion of EU data protection law in Japan. The Japanese Ambassador to the European Union, His Excellency Keiichi Katakami, hosted a dinner for Christopher and presented him with a medal in recognition of the award. WSGR Of Counsel Cedric Burton also attended the ceremony.
