On July 6, Wilson Sonsini partner Maneesha Mithal will participate in a LinkedIn Live hosted by IAPP Managing Director Cobun Zweifel-Keegan titled "The FTC After Slaughter." The discussion will center on the June 29, 2026 U.S. Supreme Court decision in Trump v. Slaughter, which held that regulatory agencies Congress creates to wield executive power, including the power to enforce the law, are ultimately accountable to the chief executive. The speakers will discuss how the decision impacts the FTC, both internally and externally.
