The Leaders Forum was first organized in 1995 by three prominent medical technology executives to address the societal impact of diabetes. In 2015, the Leaders Forum evolved to what it is today, a HealthTech Showcase. And while proceeds continue to benefit the ADA, the showcase welcomes all med-tech innovations with novel inventions, ranging from medical devices to health IT. Startups are given the opportunity to interact with life science and professional community members while receiving accolades and potentially earning precious startup funding.

The Leaders Forum HealthTech Showcase committee comprises health care industry executives, consultants, investors, and service providers who want to devote a portion of their time and effort to charity. Now in its 30th season, the Leaders Forum HealthTech Showcase has raised nearly $6 million dollars for the ADA and has played a crucial role in funding local and national research to one day cure diabetes.
