Artificial intelligence (AI) and commercial space exploration (frequently called "New Space") are both frontier technologies that have the potential to lead to transformative applications. This webinar explores the intersection of both technologies with a focus on two near-term use cases: autonomous satellites and data centers in space.
For both applications, the webinar will examine how commercial IP and technology contracts should account for AI’s application in space. In particular, the program will address the impact of international space treaties on IP creation and risk allocation provisions. The speakers will also discuss U.S. regulations in this area and best practices for companies doing business in this area.
