Larissa Lee is a litigation associate in the Salt Lake City office of Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati, where her practice focuses on securities litigation, banking regulation, and blockchain law. Larissa represents clients in a variety of securities class action and shareholder derivative lawsuits filed against public companies. She also has experience defending companies and individuals in connection with SEC investigations. In law school, Larissa interned with the SEC’s Division of Enforcement.
Larissa also advises companies on all aspects of industrial bank formation, including drafting and revising complex de novo bank applications, developing business plans and financials, drafting Community Reinvestment Act (CRA) plans, and working in a close productive relationship with the Utah Department of Financial Institutions, the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation, and other state and federal agencies. Larissa also has experience drafting legal opinion letters and other bank regulatory matters.
Larissa has extensive experience with blockchain, Bitcoin, and other digital assets. Since 2018, Larissa has served as Associate Editor-In-Chief for the Journal of the British Blockchain Association, the world’s first peer-reviewed scholarly blockchain journal. Larissa also received a one-year fellowship in law school to study creating an alternative stock market using blockchain technology.
