Cesar Fischer is a corporate associate in the New York office at Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati, where he focuses on advising early-stage, private and public companies, and investors through all stages of the corporate lifecycle, from incorporation to a liquidity event, including financing activities, mergers and acquisitions, and other strategic transactions.

Cesar specializes in public and private debt and equity offerings, exchange offers and debt restructurings by U.S. and non-U.S. issuers in a variety of industries. He also advises U.S. and non-U.S. corporate clients with respect to general corporate matters, including corporate governance, SEC and Sarbanes-Oxley matters.  

Prior to joining the firm, Cesar practiced in the corporate group at Davis Polk & Wardwell in New York and São Paulo, Brazil. Cesar also worked at Lefosse Advogados in São Paulo, Brazil, concentrating on capital markets, corporate governance, and mergers and acquisitions.

Cesar is fluent in Portuguese, and knowledgeable in Spanish and Italian.
