EU LEGISLATIVE PROCESS UPDATES

The Regulation has been adopted in the ordinary legislative process by both the European Parliament and the Council of the European Union in order to become law. The Regulation was published in the Official Journal of the European Union on May 4, 2016, and entered into force twenty days after its publication. The Regulation will be enforceable as of May 25, 2018. Below are some relevant updates:
