We handle trade secret, patent, copyright, and other technology-centered commercial disputes for Silicon Valley’s largest companies and cutting-edge start-ups. We have advanced the law repeatedly in key areas. We try cases. Candidates must have excellent academic credentials, as well as top-notch writing, speaking, fact development, and legal research skills. We work collaboratively and seek candidates to learn and run cases.  We prioritize early responsibility and leadership opportunities on our case teams.

If you have 3+ years of experience in patent prosecution, strong communication skills in both English and Mandarin, a license to practice before SIPO and a masters level degree or higher in biology, chemistry, bioengineering, or similar life sciences field, we want to hear from you. We also value your exposure to a wide array of technologies and/or experience in appeal and invalidation proceedings.

The Employment & Trade Secret Litigation team at Wilson Sonsini has a uniquely broad practice. On any given day, you might work on bet-the-company litigation, an internal investigation, or advise on a spin-out merger.
