CrowdStrike Closes $100 Million Series C Financing

On July 13, 2015, CrowdStrike, a leading provider of next-generation endpoint protection, threat intelligence, and pre- and post-incident response services, announced that it has completed a $100 million Series C financing round led by Google Capital. Rackspace, a CrowdStrike customer, also participated in the round, as well as existing investors Accel Partners and Warburg Pincus. Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati advised CrowdStrike in connection with the financing.

The financing brings CrowdStrike's total funds raised to $156 million. CrowdStrike Falcon is the first true Software-as-a-Service (SaaS)-based platform for next-generation endpoint protection that detects, prevents, and responds to attacks at any stage—even malware-free intrusions.

The WSGR team that advised CrowdStrike in the financing was led by partner Yoichiro Taku and included Of Counsel Hans Kim and associate Lyman Thai.
