Salesforce.com to Acquire Buddy Media for $698 Million
On June 4, 2012, enterprise cloud computing company salesforce.com announced that it has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire Buddy Media, a leading social media marketing platform, for approximately $698 million in cash and equity. Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati is representing salesforce.com in the acquisition.
The transaction is subject to customary closing conditions and is expected to be completed during salesforce.com's fiscal third quarter, which ends October 31, 2012.
