Khurram Awan is an associate in the Palo Alto office of Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati, where he is a member of the technology transactions practice. Khurram represents clients in the structuring, drafting, and negotiations of a wide variety of commercial transactions related to technology, intellectual property rights, cloud computing, joint ventures, and strategic alliances, as well as licensing, services, development, manufacturing, supply, and distribution relationships. He also advises clients on technology and intellectual property rights matters in mergers, acquisitions, asset purchases, patent purchases, asset sales and divestitures, public offerings, and investments. Khurram has worked with clients ranging from small start-ups to large public companies, and in a variety of technology-driven industries, including hardware, software, semiconductors, e-commerce and cloud computing, digital media, and Internet. He also advises clients on open source licensing matters.
Prior to law school, Khurram was a component design engineer at Intel Corporation, where he worked on several microprocessor design projects.EDUCATION:
