| EXPERIENCE: Catalin Cosovanu is an associate in the technology transactions practice of Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati in Palo Alto. He has represented clients ranging from start-ups to established companies in industries and sectors including software (both open source and closed source, and both business and end user, with traditional licensing as well as software-as-a-service models), hardware (including networking, sensors, semiconductors, and memory), content distribution and clearance, new media, and clean technology. Catalin has prepared, reviewed, and negotiated a wide range of transactions involving the design, development, manufacturing, distribution, and support of technology, business and consumer products, content, and services. In addition, he has counseled clients on intellectual property matters in connection with investments, financings, asset purchases and sales, and mergers and acquisitions. Prior to joining the firm in March 2006, Catalin was an attorney at Weil Gotshal & Manges in New York.
