| EXPERIENCE: Todd Glass is a partner at Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati, where his practice focuses on the representation of project developers, utilities, venture capital firms, and investment banks in the energy and clean technology sector in North America, Asia, Europe, and Australia. Todd has extensive experience with the development, purchase, and sale of renewable and thermal generation projects; the structuring, negotiation, and implementation of energy transactions and financings; and the state and federal regulation of the energy industry. He served various enterprises as lead project counsel in the commercialization, project development, regulatory approvals, and financing of alternative energy projects and technologies, including concentrated solar, solar photovoltaic (PV), clean coal, wind, biomass, hydroelectric, fuel cells/energy storage, and hydrokinetic. Notably, he has led some of the most significant recent energy deals in the U.S., including one of the largest solar PV projects in North America (14.2 MW Nellis AFB Solar Project), BrightSource Energy's power purchase agreements (900 MW) with Pacific Gas & Electric, and several natural gas purchase agreements totaling 100 Bcf in Alaska. In addition, Todd represents utility-scale solar and other renewable energy clients in their power sales and renewable energy credit (REC) transactions and advises emerging clean technology companies on a variety of commercial matters, national and international joint ventures, mergers and acquisitions, and venture and other equity and debt financings. He also represents venture capital firms and investment banks with regard to their investigation, due diligence, and funding of clean tech companies and projects. Todd previously served as chair of Heller Ehrman's energy practice group and co-chair of its energy and clean technologies practice. Earlier in his career, he worked on environmental and energy policy issues for the Bonneville Power Administration and the Washington Utilities and Transportation Commission, an environmental consulting firm in contract with the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency in Washington, D.C., and the U.S. House of Representatives' Committee on Science and Technology.
