As a seat of the Delaware Court of Chancery, Georgetown is home to the nation's leading court for corporate law cases. Although our attorneys have tried many cases before the Court of Chancery over the years, Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati was pleased to open an office within walking distance of the Sussex County Court of Chancery in August 2011, giving the firm an increased presence in this important judicial hub.
The office is led by William B. Chandler III, the former Chancellor of the Delaware Court of Chancery. Widely respected as one of the country's most influential judges on issues of corporate law and governance, Chancellor Chandler became a partner at Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati after a distinguished 22-year-long career at the Court of Chancery. He and the rest of the Georgetown team work with the firm's corporate and litigation attorneys nationwide to advise clients on a broad range of corporate law and governance matters.
The seamless integration of all Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati offices enables high-quality service that leverages the institutional experience and resources of the entire firm. Our proprietary collaborative systems allow our attorneys immediate access to the firm's collective expertise and knowledge, enabling them to respond quickly with effective solutions for our clients.
