| EXPERIENCE: Jack Sheridan is a partner at Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati, where he has practiced corporate and securities law for more than 20 years. He serves as the leader of the firm's business law department and is also a certified public accountant in the state of California. Jack is currently a co-chair of the firm's Compensation Committee and was a co-chair of the Nominating Committee for the past three years. Jack focuses on the corporate legal needs of public and private companies primarily in the technology, life sciences, and retail consumer sectors. He is currently involved in the representation of numerous public companies and more than 75 venture-backed private companies. In addition to addressing the corporate governance, intellectual property, and other day-to-day needs of these companies, Jack specializes in sophisticated corporate transactions including public offerings, mergers and acquisitions, and venture financing transactions. During his career, he has represented companies and underwriters in more than 100 public offerings, which have raised billions of dollars of capital. Jack also has represented more than 150 companies in successfully raising venture capital financing. In addition, he has acted on behalf of numerous public and private companies in sophisticated merger and acquisition transactions. Jack was selected for inclusion in the 2008, 2009, and 2010 editions of The Best Lawyers in America in the fields of corporate law and corporate governance and compliance law.
