| EXPERIENCE: Adit Khorana is a partner in Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati's technology transactions practice. He focuses on the representation of technology companies, from start-ups to Fortune 100 corporations, with particular emphasis on computer software and hardware, Web 2.0 and other Internet, mobile/wireless, consumer electronics, and semiconductor companies. Adit represents his clients in the structuring and negotiation of complex domestic and international technology transactions. These include strategic alliances, joint ventures, and other collaboration and partnering arrangements; technology acquisitions; mergers and spin-offs; outsourcing transactions; and commercial transactions for the development, licensing, manufacturing, marketing, and distribution of technology and technology products. He provides strategic counseling regarding all aspects of intellectual property and technology law, with a particular emphasis on issues related to open source software. He also regularly counsels Internet companies regarding business and revenue models and strategies, as well as issues related to content rights, privacy, security, e-commerce, ad serving, framing/embedding, encryption, user-generated content, and other online issues. Prior to law school, Adit worked for a variety of technology companies, including several start-ups and McDonnell Douglas, where he held a Department of Defense security clearance.
