Larry L. Shatzer is an intellectual property litigation partner in the Washington, D.C., office of Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati. With more than 20 years of experience litigating complex intellectual property matters, Larry specializes in patent litigation and has held numerous first-chair trial roles in cases before the U.S. International Trade Commission (ITC) and in federal district court. He has more than two dozen Section 337 ITC investigations to his credit, and his expertise encompasses a broad array of technology sectors, including biotechnology, chemicals, semiconductors, telecommunications, and mechanical systems. Larry has also argued several appeals before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit.
Larry is a past president of the ITC Trial Lawyers Association and has served on the organization's Executive Committee since 1995. He is currently a member of Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati's Policy Committee.
Prior to joining the firm, Larry was the firm-wide chair of the IP litigation practice at Foley & Lardner in Washington, D.C. Earlier in his career, he practiced at Adduci, Mastriani & Schaumberg.
