Jonathan Axelrad is an attorney in Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati's San Francisco office, where his practice focuses on representing emerging growth companies. He also represents venture capital and private equity funds that invest in early-stage companies.
Before joining the firm, Jonathan practiced corporate law in New York and Washington, D.C. He also held legal clerkships with the Overseas Private Investment Corporation and the Securities and Exchange Commission.
Jonathan serves as a vice president of the Northern California chapter of the American Jewish Committee. In addition, he has represented, on a pro bono basis, the Harvard Business School Green Business Alumni Association, Energy Crossroads, and the American Jewish Committee.
Jonathan has given speeches on venture law, new business formation, energy, and environmental issues to a variety of audiences. He speaks French, Japanese, and English.
