Valentina Rucker is an associate in the Washington, D.C., office of Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati. Valentina's practice encompasses a wide variety of antitrust matters, including mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, investigations by the United States Department of Justice and the Federal Trade Commission, private litigation, and counseling on issues such as resale price maintenance and antitrust compliance. She has also represented clients in government investigations and enforcement actions related to export controls.
In addition, Valentina's practice includes advising clients on privacy and data security issues. She has represented several clients before the FTC in matters relating to privacy concerns and advises clients regarding the adequacy of their data security practices.
Valentina's client base spans the software, pharmaceutical, videoconferencing/telepresence, gaming, laser, retail, beverage, semiconductor, speech recognition, and media industries.
Valentina is an active member of the American Bar Association's Section of Antitrust Law. She is currently serving as the Antitrust Section's liaison to the Russian and CIS Antitrust ABA organizations, as well as running a series of "Recent Developments" programs for the Health Care and Pharmaceuticals Committee. Valentina was previously a co-editor of the Recent Developments newsletter, a publication of the Health Care and Pharmaceuticals Committee.
